FAQS
How does shipping work?
How far in advance do I need to place my shipping order?
It all depends on how quickly you need your order. Please note that for next-day shipping arrivals, orders must be finalized by 2 pm Mountain Standard Time the day prior. Next day shipping is available Monday - Friday. If you are gearing up for a special occasion, we recommend choosing an arrival date 1-2 days in advance. Sometimes holidays make delivery a little wacky, so plan for more time during these high-volume seasons.
Signing for Order:
You do not need to be home to sign for your shipping order but take note of delivery times as you wouldn’t want your cookies outside long.
When will my order arrive?
Our ordering system makes it easy to choose your arrival date at checkout. Order today and mark it off your to-do list! Your cookies will arrive fresh in time for your event.
Is my arrival date guaranteed? What if my shipping order doesn’t arrive on the date I chose?
Because we use FedEx and CDL Last Mile as a third-party shipping method, we are not able to guarantee arrival dates and times, but we try really, really hard to make sure it gets to you on time. If you’re planning for special occasions, we recommend choosing an arrival date 1-2 days early (so for weekend events, we recommend arrival on Thursday) so you can be worry-free! Your cookies will stay fresh in transit for up to 5 days.
How are the wedding cookies packaged?
Fresh and Whole on Arrival:
We know it’s important that your cookies arrive whole and unbroken and ready to serve. We personally package your cookies. First we put your bite-size treats into our custom-designed tins. Our tins are then packed in our branded boxes with foam liners so they are protected from the bumps on the road to you.
We recommend keeping the cookies in our custom tins until you are ready to serve as they are best protected and stay fresher in the closed tin.
We support utilizing our customized tin container to display your cookies on the table - flip the bottom upside down to make a cookie tower, keep cookies in the tin, or use the tin to hold left-over cookies.
Can I travel with my order
Absolutely! Our tins travel well and protect the cookies. For airplanes, we suggest storing our cookies in an upright carry-on.
How do I store the Mexican Wedding Cookies?
Cookies stay fresh at room temperature for 21 days. Do not freeze them and do not reheat them.. Cookies will be the freshest within 7 days of order date but can remain fresh for 21 days if kept in an airtight container.
How do 'order aheads' work?
Can I modify or cancel my order? All orders to be delivered within 5 days of order date are final, so make sure everything looks correct at checkout. We make them fresh and ship them quickly. If you make an error, the best way to reach out is by email— support@romerocookies.com. Ee’ll do our best to help, but please note that no changes are guaranteed.
