From the vibrant heart of the Rio Grande Valley, Romero embodies the spirit of Mexican-American celebrations with each bite of our cherished cookies.

As the daughter of parents with a Mexican-American bakery for 40 years, I grew up in the hustle of our bakery and community. My parents inspired a lifelong passion for serving others and entrepreneurship.

I recall those hot Texas summers, delivering these coveted cookies that were always paired with joyous celebrations and heartfelt memories.

After years of devoting my time to lower-income families through my nonprofit work, my sweet tooth for my father’s Pan de Polvo—a beloved recipe at every local celebration—drew me back to the cookie.

My father's Pan de Polvo was legendary, a staple at weddings, quinceañeras, anniversaries, and countless other gatherings. "Are those Romero's Pan de Polvo?" was a question that filled the air at gatherings.

Today, I'm bringing back his cookie so the whole of the U.S. can enjoy! I'm not just selling Mexican Wedding Cookies, I am sharing our unique Mexican-American heritage through sweet cookie traditions and celebrations. With a blend of intuition, a daring spirit, a drive to enjoy every day I'm given, and deep respect for my heritage, I'm proud to reintroduce my father’s famed cookies. Romero now offers these delectable, irresistible treats, ensuring that people will remember your event and how they felt receiving and tasting these cookies.
