“La Bendición” New Baby Greeting Card
Welcome a new little one with a card full of love and cultural meaning. This charming Lotería-inspired baby congratulations card features a sweet illustration of a sleeping baby and the phrase “La Bendición.”
In many Latino families, la bendición is a beautiful tradition where children ask elders for a blessing as a sign of love and respect. The phrase also reflects the belief that children themselves are a true blessing to the family. This card celebrates that sentiment perfectly—honoring the joy, gratitude, and deep family connection that come with welcoming a new baby.
Thoughtful, playful, and rooted in cultural tradition, it’s a wonderful way to congratulate new parents and celebrate the newest little blessing in their lives.

FAQ
What are Mexican Wedding Cookies?
Mexican Wedding Cookies — also known as polvorones, pan de polvo, Russian tea cakes, or snowball cookies — are delicate, melt-in-your-mouth cookies dusted in powdered sugar. Romero Cookies are made from a 40-year family recipe, perfect for weddings, holidays, and everyday celebrations.
Are Romero Cookies the same as biscochitos or bizcochitos?
While they look similar, Romero Mexican Wedding Cookies are not biscochitos. They don’t contain anise and are not made with lard. We often hear regional debates about cookie names — try ours and you might prefer them!
What makes Romero Cookies authentic?
Our recipe has been in the Romero family for over 40 years. Every cookie is handmade in our Denver kitchen with simple, high-quality ingredients that melt in your mouth.
How long do Romero Mexican Wedding Cookies stay fresh?
Our cookies stay fresh for up to 90 days in tins or favor containers and about 30 days if placed in a cookie tray. While freezing won’t harm them, we recommend enjoying them fresh for the best flavor and texture.
Are Mexican Wedding Cookies just for weddings?
Not at all! While they began as a wedding tradition, Mexican Wedding Cookies are now enjoyed at birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, and everyday gatherings. They also make thoughtful gifts for teachers, coworkers, and family.
