About Romero Cookies
We’re a Latina-owned, small-batch cookie company rooted in four generations of Mexican-American baking tradition. Based in Denver, we ship nostalgic, fresh-baked cookies across the U.S. for celebrations, gifts, and cultural moments that matter.
As we scale, we need someone to help keep our operations running smoothly so we can keep delighting customers coast to coast.

Why This Role Matters
Every cookie that leaves our kitchen carries a story — and this holiday season, that story is growing. Romero Cookies started as one person's passion for baking something people actually love to share. Now, we're scaling to meet real demand, which means bringing new hands into the process who care about the craft as much as we do.
This baker role isn't just about filling shifts — it's about building the team that will carry Romero Cookies through its biggest season yet. The person we hire will help shape how we bake, package, and deliver joy to our customers during the time of year when it matters most. They'll learn the recipe, run the equipment, and become part of a small but growing company at a pivotal moment.
If you've ever wanted to be part of something local, hands-on, and meaningful — where your work directly touches what customers unwrap and enjoy — this is that opportunity.

What You'll Gain
Beyond a paycheck, this role is a chance to build real, transferable experience:
-
- Hands-on production skills — learn to operate a commercial cookie depositor and follow standardized recipes and processes used in food manufacturing
- Early-stage CPG experience — see firsthand how a growing packaged goods brand builds its operations, something most entry-level roles at bigger companies never expose you to
- A foot in the door — as Romero Cookies scales, our team will scale with it, and the people who show up now are the ones who'll be considered first for future opportunities
- A flexible, supportive environment — work alongside a founder who's building this company the right way, with room to ask questions and grow into the role

At Romero Cookies, we know mistakes happen in fast-moving environments. We practice “fail forward” — learning quickly, improving, and moving on.
Who Will Succeed
This is a hands-on, physical role, and we're upfront about that. Successful team members are the ones willing to put in real work — standing for shifts, lifting and moving product, and staying focused during repetitive, detail-driven tasks. It's labor-intensive by nature, especially as we ramp up for the holidays, and it rewards people who show up ready to work hard and take pride in doing things right.
The right person isn't necessarily the most experienced baker — they're someone dependable, coachable, and willing to put in the effort day after day. If you're not afraid of a physically demanding job and want to be part of something you helped build from the ground up, you'll thrive here.
